I Want to Work . . .

ARCA’s award winning Individual and Group Supported Employment Services are for adults with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities who choose to and are able to work. Paid work is often considered a measure of personal value; our employment services foster the self-sufficiency and emotional well-being of each person through customized employment supports. Employment supports are provided through ARCA’s Career Enhancement Services (ACES) and our Community Integrated Employment Program.

The ACES Job Developers and Job Coaches emphasize community employment first. Job supports include assessments, job development, on-the-job training and fading of supports to help the worker gain independence on the job. Group Supported Employment provides a way for individuals learning work skills to earn a salary through bundles of contract work on-site.
