I Want to Learn . . .

In 1999, ARCA began offering customized instruction on reading and writing to people with barriers to traditional learning. In 2005, focus on using computers was increased in response to student interest. Individual skill sets are fundamentally connected to each classroom lesson.

Each student learns from professional tutors as part of a peer group within a computer lab containing specialized software and adaptive aids. The focus is on the specifics of language development and computer skills like navigating menus and keyboarding.
