At ARCA,we feel it is critical to fully train and prepare our employees for all aspects of their work. Key components of the Training Department include:

• Comprehensive paid training to all ARCA employees and affordable training open to all in the community
• 45 different topics taught in the fields of developmental disabilities and general studies
• Class participation and varied activities to promote fun and learning
• Professional and courteous trainers with many years experience
• Latest state-of-the-art technology and adult learning techniques utilized
• Accessibility emphasized with weekday, weekend, and evening courses, online courses, and interpreters employed as needed

We offer raises for our employees after completing their core classes, and also bring in a variety of outside experts to teach topics such as supervisory skills, computer skills, advanced DD courses, etc.

To round out the importance we place on training, ARCA has a tuition reimbursement plan to help our employees further their career goals.
